WRX Brakes

Pads are where to start. A street performance pad like Hawk HPS has more bite and holds up to heat better than the stock pad. Swap rotors at the same time, or have yours checked. Fitment depends on the caliper, not just the model: a 2018–2021 STI with Brembo 6-piston calipers takes different pads than a 2015–2017 STI or a WRX, so check your year. Fresh, high-temp fluid goes with any pad upgrade.
