About the BP Outback
The BP Outback (2005–2009) offered the 2.5L, the turbocharged 2.5XT and the 3.0R flat-six. Parts for the XT and 3.0R often differ from the 2.5i.
Where to start
Outback owners usually start with floor liners, a cargo liner and mud flaps, since the car carries gear and gets used in snow and on dirt roads. For brakes, pads and rotors are the usual first change. Shocks and struts wear out with the miles, and lift springs add clearance.
Check the fitment notes on each part for years, trims and transmission.
