About the GU Crosstrek

The GU uses the 2.0L or 2.5L boxer engine with a CVT. The Wilderness trim has its own suspension and ride height, so parts made for the standard car may not fit it. Check the notes on each part.

Where to start

Most Crosstrek owners start with floor liners, a cargo liner and mud flaps, since the car gets used for trails, snow and gear. For brakes, pads and rotors are the usual first change. For suspension, the choice is between lift kits or lift springs for more clearance, or lowering springs and coilovers for a lower, firmer car. Shocks and struts wear out with the miles, so replacing them is often a good time to pick a different ride height.

Check the fitment notes on each part for years, trims and transmission. Some parts fit only the gas models, and some fit only the Hybrid or Wilderness.
